The past month or so I've really neglected my blog! I hate that! I hate being so behind on everything. And behind is exactly what I've become. So much has happened in the past month and I've been so busy that I haven't been able to blog about it.
Well we are starting on a new routine and it's time especially since I've only got 6 weeks left to get myself into a routine.
So I'm going to highlight on a few things that have taken place in the past month and I'm going to over load you with pictures!
Olivia was born 11 days before Christmas and luck would have it that we had everything ready to go when it came to all the Christmas events we were attending! On the 23rd we went to my parents and did our Christmas thing with them. It's an all day event so it was really nice to spend the day with my family but at the same time exhausting. Having a newborn wears on you not to mention my sweet Hannah running around having temper tantrums every 10 minutes! But it was a lot of fun and we got tons of great gifts and spent wonderful much needed quality time with my side of the family!
On the 24th we went to Kyle's parents and did our Christmas with them that morning and his side of the family got together that afternoon for lunch. I will be honest I was pretty much a nervous wreck the entire weekend because here I was [hormonal] worried to death someone was going to give my 10 day old baby germs! I was paranoid and I was so afraid that she was going to be passed around like a hot potato but when it comes to me evidently my face is easy to read especially when I'm uncomfortable and that isn't what happened at all [thankfully]! Kyle's momma was the one who took all the pictures so I've only got one for now!
Now I said that the weekend was busy and it was on the 25th, we did our first official year of Santa Claus! Hannah's still young so the meaning of it didn't really click yet but she knew she got toys and had a blast opening up presents this year! Afterwards, like every year we went to Kyle's grandmothers house and had an amazing breakfast hung out there for a while, exchanged gifts and then they all went to church. I was still not up to fighting on the massive crowd at church that were dying to meet Miss Olivia. So we went home and took a little nap before heading to my parents house to have Christmas with my dad's side of the family.

CHRISTmas is Here.... (almost)!
The last 2 or 3 weeks have been super busy! I finally was able to get my Christmas decorations up and there is just something about having your entire house decked out with trees, lights, red and green nic-naks, garland, and to top it all off I have Christmas tree smelling candles that I can't wait to light up and let their scent carry all through the house! This is by far my most favorite time of year! Although I have noticed that any holiday with children gets more and more exciting especially as they grow. lol...
We were not sure what Hannah would think of the trees this year, last year she didn't even mess with them surprisingly, and then this year again to my surprise she just walks up to it every now and then and points at the ornaments and says "ooo pretty". We finished all of our shopping by the last weekend in November, the kicker is wrapping all of them. Not a huge fan of wrapping, especially since I'm 9 months pregnant. I feel so squished when I'm sitting on the floor bending over trying to cut the paper, tape it, or just roll it out! ha!
I am extremely excited though because I know Hannah will be ripping into her presents this year and it worries me that I wont be home for this exciting time... 8(
Kyle was a sweetheart and helped me wrap almost all of the gifts we had and it took FOREVER! I need to wrap the rest of them this week and I'm thinking, WHEN?
I have to wrap them this week because Kyle and I decided to do a joint gift to each other of something we both wanted and they are coming in on Friday!!! We got our living room a new couch and our sun room a coffee table and two end tables!! It's going to look fantastic once its in there and all the clutter is cleaned out but it is getting to that point that sucks!
I also need to pack my bag(s) for the hospital!! GEESH! I so do NOT want to do this!! I started packing Hannah's bag at least, we may in the hospital as little as 24 hours or as long as 3 1/2 days! So I have to plan ahead and pack her Christmas dress (one of them anyway) 3 changes of clothes, diapers, butt paste, shoes, socks, her stuffed animals (that she sleeps with so they can wait), and then since it's cold season I have to pack stuff in case she gets sick! I hope to get diaper bag and our bag packed sometime this weekend. And put the car seat in the car (yes I know I am so unprepared!).
I am semi putting things on hold until after my finals and then once they are done then I feel like I can really begin working on things to get stuff done. Believe it or not Olivia's room is still not finished. Of course I am hoping and praying that she will grace us with her presence like several days before Christmas so we can be home.
In between the craziness of Christmas shopping, work, and school we have managed to squeeze in some things. One being Hannah's 2nd Santa excursion and bless her heart she was absolutely horrified of him! I have never heard her scream like that in my entire life, not even with shots!

Early Christmas Present!
As I was saying in one of my previous blogs I am so excited about an early Christmas present that Kyle and I are getting... Although I always love early presents ANYTIME but this one in particular has made me a very happy woman/momma!
My parents are having a fence put up in our back yard and front yard! Words cant describe how excited this makes me! This was a dream of mine and Kyles that we didnt think would come true for several years from now and then what do you know my parents decided they wanted to "gift" us with this! WOW!
The thought of not having to worry about my girls running to the road which is very heavily traveled and then we also have 2 ponds in the middle of our property and the fence is now between our house and the ponds. The peace of mind alone is awesome! I've got a few pictures but I'll take some more and add them as they finish it, which should be the beginning of next week!!!

This is the right side of our front yard no fence yet but thought I'd do before and after pictures!
The left side of our yard... Eventually we will have some sort of trees to block that "pretty" blue building!
Part of the fence in the back yard!
Fence in the backyard again
There will be a beautiful fence at the road!
